Hawaii has introduced a "Safe Travels Hawai'i" program designed to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community from trans-Pacific visitor and resident passengers arriving at airports/ports across the Islands. The State currently requires a 10 day quarantine, in accordance with CDC guidelines, for those who do not meet the State's testing and other entrance criteria.
This enhanced entry program for Hawai'i includes a pre-travel testing program, the Mandatory State of Hawai'i Travel and Health Form, and temperature screening at all Hawai‘i airports upon arrival. It is best to submit the necessary forms on the Safe Travels website. The state of Hawai'i will ONLY accept Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab test results from it’s trusted testing partners that are listed on the website.
